B. Working results of the February 18 meeting with Bill Drummond, Peter Whitehouse, Blair Beasley, and the Dialogue communication team
- The Emissions Tracker email update should be quarterly rather than monthly, since the month-to-month changes will not be dramatic and we don’t want to bore our subscribers.
- To accommodate quarters in some visualizations and months in others, the page can be longer without a significant loss in readability.
- Each quarter, Georgia Tech will generate 159 pdf-format county reports and post them on our drawdownga.gatech.edu Website.
- Each quarter GT will email the communications team a spreadsheet with county names in one column and direct links to the 159 county reports in a second column.
- GT will retain online back copies of the reports online for at least one year.
- The communication team will handle the subscription and email administration, and send quarterly emails to subscribers with a link (or links) to the online report(s).
- The communication team will develop an appropriate header graphic and make recommendations for improvements in the reports’ visualizations and explanatory text.
- GT will explore the possibilities for an additional electricity report, which might also be issued quarterly, and could be local (like the emissions report) or possibility statewide.
